Spiritual formation is an important part of the curriculum at BCM. This includes daily private devotions, chapel services, small group meetings and dorm devotions. Students are expected to maintain a vital personal devotional life. Residential students are required to observe the set morning devotion time.
Chapel services are considered an integral part of the holistic training of each student. They are held daily from Tuesday to Friday. Chapel attendance is required for all regular students. Small group meetings led by faculty members are held fortnightly on Thursdays. Dorm devotions are held every week. Prayer rooms are designated respectively for men and women in the dorms.
The first and second trimester begin with a week of special chapel services referred to as the Spiritual Emphasis Week. During this week chapel time is lengthened to enable everyone in the college to have more time to seek God. In place of the Spiritual Emphasis Week, the third trimester begins with a School Camp.
