The Bible College of Malaysia recognizes the importance of lay leadership and ministry within the local church. Therefore, while the primary mission of BCM is the training of pastors, leaders and workers for full-time ministry, the college is also committed to the training of Christian lay leaders.

We seek to do this by providing opportunities for theological education through our evening classes at BCM and through our extension centres.

CERTIFICATE OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRY (CCM)

The CCM is offered at our various extension centres to provide lay leaders with the necessary and relevant training for meeting the needs of the local church.

The CCM is offered in three stages. However, the completion of all three stages of the CCM will lead to the Certificate of Biblical Studies.

    CCM Level I     :    12 credits
CCM Level II    :    16 credits
CCM Level III   :    16 credits

Admission Requirements

  1. Students must be believers of good standing in terms of fellowship and membership with the local church.
  2. Pastor's endorsement is compulsory for registration and attendance.
  3. Students must matriculate after completion of 12 credits of study in order to continue their studies. No further courses may be taken for credit without matriculation.
